As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrols** in **Fremont, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to carry approved equipment and maintain compliance with all relevant permits. You will interact professionally with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity and a people-first approach to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere throughout the location. **Position Type: Part Time** **Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, as required by the location. + Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity through visible presence and patrols. + Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols. + Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies. + Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes or response as needed based on the unique needs of a technology-focused location. **Minimum Requirements:** + Must have at least 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military in an armed capacity. + Must possess a valid California Armed Security Professional License (CA: Armed SP Lic). + Must have a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement. + Must have an Armed Designation, including proficiency with sidearm, baton, handcuffs, and pepper spray. + Must complete Firearms Annual Inspection (this requirement can be completed post hire). + Must complete Firearms Acknowledgement (this requirement can be completed post hire). + Must complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training (this requirement can be completed post hire). + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more... **Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status, or any other basis protected by law.
