As a Security Officer - Government Site - Screener in Bushnell, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Screener in a government location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting screening procedures, and interacting with visitors and staff to provide a welcoming and professional presence. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining visible and attentive, while also delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
