Provides leadership for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient and family experience strategies designed to improve the overall experience of care. Responsible for establishing processes for achieving desired outcomes and metrics. Additionally, this position may develop, implement and participate in QI activities. Works closely with other leaders and operational areas to ensure integrations of patient experience at all levels of the organization. Integrates customer service with other strategic initiatives. All other duties as assigned by supervisor Develops, reviews, and implements strategic and operational plans for patient experience, creating a unique experience that will be a differentiator in the industry and drive future growth. Research customer service needs, expectations, and concerns, incorporating expertise from within and from outside of health care. Foster a culture of patient centered care and service excellence, working directly with operational and clinical leaders to assess and communicate performance. Provides consultative advice to leaders and colleagues based on direct observation and knowledge. Manages Patient Experience and assures colleagues are appropriately oriented. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business management & Leadership or equivalent work experience. And Meet One Of The Following Criteria: A documented track record of implementing and accomplishing patient experience improvements in a health care organization or system required. Lean Six Sigma Certification / Green belt preferrable. At least ten (10) years of Customer Service Experience. Preferrable Health Care related.
