Your Role: Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) TeacherAs an ELA teacher at Uncommon, you will ignite a passion for literature and foster an engaging classroom culture. You will guide students through the socio-emotional changes of middle school, emphasizing writing and discourse to empower them to find their voice. With a focus on research-based instructional strategies, you will help students develop reading comprehension and academic autonomy, preparing them for the challenges of high school.

CompensationThe salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $64,700 . Starting pay is determined by factors such as relevant teaching experience, educational certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools.
