About the job Law Clerk (Catonsville, MD)


Law Clerk needed for our law office client in Catonsville. The Law Clerk will type and scan legal documents. One year contract possibly contract to hire position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Essential Duties:

• Type legal documents in Microsoft Word.
• Scan documents into the computer.
• File completed folders.
• Answer and direct phone calls, relay messages promptly as backup to cover for vacations or illnesses.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock printers/copiers.
• Coordinate mail sorting, deliveries, and courier services.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least one year of law office experience to include being detail oriented and able to handle confidential data.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and type at least 40 wpm.
• Must be able to from from 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
